The pressure-box is nearing completion.

Now the more interesting task of making and fitting the 'mechanism' can soon begin.

If the width of the crankshaft compartment is increased by about 0.25", it not only makes more room for the longer throw of the crank webs, but also means the wider pipe board makes it easier to accommodate the pipes. (See John's plans for the reason for using a longer throw crank-shaft)
